Rob was a great host, super helpful with recommendations and everything else!Posted on Airbnb Jessica Ann30 December 2025Verified Was very nice and relaxing place highly recommendPosted on Airbnb Aurora6 December 2025Verified We had a lovely 3 night stay at Ty Becca! The weather wasn’t great but we still had lots to do inside, from playing endless board games, learning the piano, listening to music on Furgie the record player or just bird watching with a cup of tea. The cleanliness was top notch!! 10/10!!!!Even though it is a large space, it still felt so cosy and homely, especially on an evening with the log burner on.The bed was so so comfy, (eric really liked the bedding!!) it was nice falling asleep listening to the rain on the roof. We managed to explore the secret fields, the views were beautiful, we had fun finding all the little details hidden around. Very quiet, private and peaceful, just what we needed. We loved it so much we even got engaged here 💍!! Rob and Ness were great hosts, very responsive, respectful and helpful when needed. We 100% recommend staying here!! Thank you!!! 🩷🏴Posted on Airbnb Connor23 November 2025Verified One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in. Such a warm, cosy, and unique open space. All the little charms did it for us, from the central log butner to the 1956 radiogram fergi (my favourite). Rob was super helpful with providing a full set of recommendations for the area and beyond, offering fresh sourdough, and genuinely interesting and good to chat to, but leaves you to your space. 100% would recommend and stay again. Thanks!Posted on Airbnb Benjamin11 November 2025Verified Such a great place to stay to get away from things. Very relaxing and peaceful - even with the wind and rain! Great fire and everything has been so well thought out for a stay that defo goes above expectations. Rob communicates brilliantly and is really helpful with ideas of things to do locally. Looking forward to going back on a warm summer weekend to see the whole place in a new light.Posted on Airbnb Kevin28 October 2025Verified Great place, even greater fire. Really lovely restorative place to stay if you need to get away from it all.Posted on Google Sam Hemmings28 August 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What an awesome place. So different to any place I’ve previously stayed, such a beautiful place from the cottage to the surrounding fields with ponds, hammocks and wildlife. You can cut yourself off from the world in secret fields but also have everything you need like local shops, pubs and spectacular beaches a short drive away. Thanks Rob and Ness, will see you again soonPosted on Google natalie kent1 August 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rob and Ness' place is absolutely stunning inside and out. It was so homely inside with a large functional kitchen and places to relax on the arm chairs and sofas to watch the birds and wildlife. There were so many amazing books at the place about Wales, wildlife and other topics, I wanted to read so many of them! Outside was a tranquil and peaceful space with lots to explore in their secret gardens and some amazing suprises which I wont spoil for future guests to uncover themselves. Rob is friendly and a great communicator, sending lots of recommendations for the activites we wanted to do such as walking, swimming and getting out on the water. Not only do they offer this wonderful place to stay in, they really give back to the community and I am so grateful for people and places like this. You wont regret booking this place, infact you'll wonder if you can stay longer (which Rob will accomadate if there is space) or when you can go back again! 😊😁Posted on Google liam rickard1 June 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely fantastic stay, beautiful accommodation in a gorgeous setting. Couldn't ask for more! Only comment to note, not negative but am observation, the drive up to the cottage is a very bumpy farm track, found it difficult to get to in my A5 without a few 'bottom outs'Posted on Google Lorraine Cox19 May 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a sumptuous space Ty Becca is, full of tasteful creative touches everywhere. The attention to detail makes you want to steal some of their ideas and take them home and you can’t help but wonder how those magic light switches work! Rob and Ness have made every effort to think about you having the perfect stay and they deliver; the fresh bread and best ever homemade welsh cakes on arrival are absolute winners! They’ve made it so easy to unwind and relax whether the weather is friend or foe and you just cannot beat the feeling of putting a log on the rotating fireplace set centre stage. These guys give some of their earnings to those in greater need, are environmentally conscious and locally supportive - you will no doubt go back home feeling refreshed, nourished and knowing you have done your bit, wanting to come back and stay again. A touch of class in the absolute delights of West Wales.Posted on Google Heidi Kerrison6 April 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a wonderful break at Secret Fields Wales. The setting is perfect for those who just want to get away from it all. We stayed at Abrahams a stunningly converted barn. Next door is the equally beautiful Ty Becca perfect for couples. The small holding has beautiful secured gardens and beyond this woods and fields to explore (and a brilliant swing to try out). Take your wellies amd explore (there's also a great boot room amd laundry area to deboot and hang wet coats up). The inside of the barn is quirky and very comfortable plenty of books to read and games to play plus a lovely welcome hamper greeted us on arrival. There's no TV which suited us down to the ground and added to the getting away from it all. Plenty to keep you occupied including star gazing from the wonderful balcony. I highly recommend a stay at Secrect Field Wales.Posted on Google Charlie Gray18 March 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed at Ty Becca at the beginning of March when we were in need of deep rest & nourishment & we found just that! Such a wonderful place to retreat and unwind. It's a beautiful, calm & peaceful setting and gorgeous building lovingly repaired. There was plenty of space for 3 of us to unwind, with my husband & son. A warm welcome from both Rob & the stunning wood burner with plentiful logs (although also efficient), local sourdough bread & eggs from the farm, books with binoculars ready to bird watch over the new wildlife pond and comfy beds. Countryside charm with a modern and artistic touch & beautiful beaches & pubs nearby & wonderful local food. Beautiful. We hope to visit again!Posted on Google Ricky spring17 December 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked a long weekend on the run up to Christmas for a romantic break. The frost and ice came in and left us with little choice but to stay in burning our way through the plentiful log stack in the unique spinning log burner. We had plans and aspirations to get out and do a load of walks and activity but in the end the accommodation was enough. We ventured out of the grounds of the secret fields once or twice but honestly the well finished open plan but very cosy barn conversion was such a treat we felt little need. Excellent hosts, very peaceful and out of the way location, looking forward to seeing the place in the summer for a more active break.
